Interreligious Study
& Dialogue Project
About the Project
The aim of the Interreligious Study and Dialogue Project is to collect and share academic resources for how to study world religions through interreligious reading, dialogue, and friendship. The resources are designed especially for students of Saint Leo University's World Religions in Dialogue undergraduate course, and the Catholicism and the World Religions graduate course. The site also contains resources for the graduate course, History and Theology of Catholic-Jewish Relations. The project is a collaboration between Saint Leo University undergraduate and graduate students, Dr. Matthew Tapie, Assistant Professor of Theology in the Department of Philosophy, Theology, and Religion (PTR) and director of Saint Leo University's Center for Catholic-Jewish Studies (CCJS), and Associate Professor Dr. Marc Pugliese, also in the PTR.
This website serves as a research guide for students who seek to study the world religions through dialogue in their respective locations. The data collected in these pages is based on research of undergraduate fellows of the Center for Catholic-Jewish Studies, as well as student research conducted in Dr. Tapie's World Religions in Dialogue course. Students in the course study the world's religious traditions in part by speaking with leaders and members of religious institutions in the students' respective regions of the United States.
